Children’s Therapy: Children, adolescents and parents need a safe place to explore any struggles that may be going on in their lives. Children’s therapy many include talking, art, games and play to help children express what is going on for them and help them learn skills to work through their struggles. Children come to therapy for a variety of reasons and through therapy learn invaluable skills they can use the rest of their lives.
Trauma Therapy: This therapy uses a three phase, safe trauma treatment approach to help people overcome the symptoms they are experiencing and heal from their traumatic experiences. The first phase includes gaining skills to understand and regulate emotions, set goals to meet by the end of therapy, understand and challenge unhealthy patterns/habits/addictions, and communicate effectively. The second phase is where you will begin to work through your trauma(s) and heal from the experiences you have had. Also in this second phase we will explore how trauma has effected your life and how to reduce/eliminate these symptoms. The third phase will focus on re-connection. In this phase we will establish a safety net in your community, talk about healthy relationships, and help you gain the skills to have a healthy life after therapy.
